RAFFLE TICKETS AND RUMMAGE SALE TO BENEFIT DEAD DOG BEACH RESCUES!!!
There will be a BIG rummage sale at Busch Wildlife Sanctuary, 2500 Jupiter Park Drive in Jupiter (www.buschwildlife.com) with proceeds going to the rescue efforts of animals from Dead Dog Beach (Busch will receive 10% of the profits as a thank you for their space.). Anyone who has items to donate (I'm talking to people who live in or around Jupiter for this) to the rummage sale can e:mail me at ginny@manosporpatas.org to arrange for pickup.
And we've put together a terrific raffle package with these proceeds also going to the Dead Dog Beach project - getting those animals off the beach and into safety. Donation for each ticket is $10 and the prize is a weeklong getaway for two to Puerto Rico! Package includes:
- 2 R/T tickets on American Airlines from any state in the continental U.S.
- 1 week car rental from Avis
- 2 nights at the Holiday Inn in San Juan
- 2 nights at the Four Points Sheraton in Caguas
- 2 nights at the Four Points Sheraton in Palmas del Mar
- extras include rounds of golf, paragliding/hangliding lessons, meals, and more
There will soon be a link on the website to purchase tickets. In the meantime, you can send a check to Manos por Patas at P. O. Box 171, Jupiter, FL 33468-0171 and you'll be entered into the drawing. Drawing will be held on December 31, 2006 - you'll have a year from date of winning to redeem your tickets.
This is a great cause. All the money will go towards rescue efforts at Dead Dog Beach including vet care (vaccinations, spay & neuter, treatments for mange, heartworm, other parasites, and other medical treatments) , boarding. Some animals will be adopted within PR, others will be sent to shelters in the U.S. for adoption. Please make your donations and maybe you'll be the lucky winner!!!

I'm in California doing my nursing job for a few weeks and I've made copies of the raffle announcement and given it to everyone at both hospitals where I work and to my daughter who works at Apple. Two Questions:
1) How & when will the winner be notified that he/she won?
2) When will there be online capability to buy tickets?

The winner will be notified by phone and e:mail after the drawing. The winner will be drawn on New Year's Eve and I'll send an e:mail after that and will call the next day. Also, there is capability now to purchase tickets online. Go to the home page of the website, www.manosporpatas.org, and you will see a button to click in order to buy tickets. Good luck!
