sterilizations are starting

Dr. Gwen Davis of Puerto Rico Animal Welfare Service will be coming to Yabucoa on August 13 to train Dr. Edwin Burgos (D.V.M. from Humacao) on chemical sterilization procedures. Dr's Davis and Burgos will then administer the procedure to as many male dogs on the beach area as they can. Our goal is 15 sterilizations on that day. This will reduce future populations of satos in that area. If you live in the area and would like to volunteer to help on that day, please contact us at info@manosporpatas.org. These "neuter parties" cost about $35 for each dog neutered. We count strictly on donations to cover these costs. If you can help, please donate.
