Message to help
Dear Friends:
Most of you already know by now the horrible fate 80 animals suffered this past week. We want to let you know that criminal and civil actions are being considered and will be taken against the perpetrators of these crimes. Also, investigations from different agencies are on the way.
We understand that people want to help, but please we have to work together, here's what we've got:
Please, if you know any lawyer who wants to help, have them contact Adopcion Mascota at 1-888-8ADOPTA, option 4, and leave a message with their information, they will be contacted. We have been having lawyers come out of nowhere and talk to our witnesses, and have them sign "something", we don't know. Maybe it's for something good, maybe it's from the mayor's office, we don't know. But this is something that can seriously hurt all investigations taking place, and the cases.
As of right now, veterinary services cost are covered. We will need money though, for the witnesses' transportations, since they are people with little resources and they must need to go to Bayamon for their declarations, and preliminary hearings. For this, Alma Febus one of the investigators from Rottweiler Rescue, will be setting a bank account sometime next week, and will be given to you in another message.
Obviously, we will need your support in Court as this case progresses, God willing. So we will be notifying you of the Court dates so you can attend and let the judicial system know people are interested in the case.
