Update on Ziggy

Well, it seems I have a dog. I didn't WANT a dog, but apparently I've got one. Ziggy came here in April to be taken to the Humane Society of the Treasure Coast in Palm City but apparently he wasn't feeling it there and decided to get out of it by biting the shelter manager. So I took him back to my home to get him a little more settled in and try again. We went up to H.A.L.O. shelter in Sebastian a month later where - whadya know - he bit the shelter manager!

Ziggy is a bit of a fear biter but 98% of the time he is a super sweet, playful and hilariously funny little guy. I still have him up for adoption but he needs just the right environment before I would feel comfortable adopting him out. He's fine - even great - with cats but he can be dog aggressive and is very protective of me (and would be with any future owner) so no young children. He's a tough sell but given his beginnings - take a look at him in the third photo - that's how he was found at the beach - his hair was so horribly matted that there was a collar found under it when he was shaved! - given his beginnings I have to give the little guy some slack that he's not just a total psycho evil dog.

If anyone is interested in having a sweet, playful, funny - yet sort of moody - little dog in their home, you know where to find me!
